We are determined that everyone who needs treatment will get it, regardless of means. If you need treatment now for nighmares, flashbacks or other post-traumatic symptoms then call now - do not worry about the cost - we will treat everyone we can. However, this is a charity, and the funds to pay for the therapeutic effort have to come from donations or from other benevolent organisations that have military welfare in their objects. We ask that if you are successfully treated by us, and if you have the means to do so, you consider paying towards the costs. We project that running Resolution will cost about £500 per case, and if someone who is working will pay the cost of their treatment it allows us to treat someone who has no support, perhaps someone whose life and family have suffered very badly because of PTSD. So we will be sending a letter to everyone whose outcome data suggests a success, asking them to contribute what they can afford. We receive inquiries from people who are suffering nightmares as a result of car accidents, mortuary experiences, bank raids, police or fire service duties, natural disasters, and so on. We cannot fund these cases directly, but the sometimes an employer or a relevant benevolent association will help, in which case we will take on the case and manage it in the same way as for our military clients. Potential donors who are also taxpayers are asked to contact our charity's secretary at The Human Givens Foundation, Church Farm Lane, Chalvington, HAILSHAM, East Sussex, BN27 3TD, so that the tax can be reclaimed and the project will receive more for each pound donated.
