Company Trainingg
Recommended for:
Trauma Awareness in your Staff is recommended for companies that employ or manage TA Reservists or former members of the uniformed services, including army and other armed forces, as well as emergency services, who may have been exposed to traumatic events.
The effects of military PTSD, in particular, are increasingly attracting public attention and the concern of employers.
Managers need the skills to recognise the condition and support staff if they become disturbed by the extreme events they have seen.
Course overview:
Traumatised people can become depressed, anxious, angry and irrational without apparent cause. Are these symptoms of a very demanding job or a condition such as military PTSD?
Trauma Awareness will explain how trauma works, how to recognise traumatised behaviour, and what you can do to support traumatised employees.
This is not only a duty of the employer; it also makes it possible to retain the services of these valuable employees. |
