PTSD Resolution - a new approach to trauma symptoms

PTSD IS NOT JUST A MILITARY PROBLEM.

Resolution is a charity project formed to provide a new kind of treatment for military personnel. However, we also receive calls from other uniformed personnel, and from civilians who are suffering nightmares and other trauma symptoms.

We can also help non-military personnel if a way can be found to fund the treatment. In some cases employers will do this, sometimes benevolent funds set up for particular occupations will help. Private heath insurance may meet the bill, or people with the means to do so can fund their own treatment.

So, for example, a bank employee who has trauma symptoms following an armed raid might call, and we would talk to the bank's welfare or human resources department and see if they would agree to fund the case. Not every case can be funded this way, but we will try.
